AirCGC was growing their air cargo operations but kept losing potential bookings. Their online booking flow required clients to fill out eight or more steps of complex forms with cargo specifications, routing details, and compliance codes. The drop-off rate was significant — clients would start the process and abandon it partway through.
Every booking required clients to manually enter detailed cargo information across multiple form steps, including dimensions, weight, hazardous goods classifications, origin/destination details, and preferred routing. Each step introduced friction and the opportunity for errors. Internally, staff had to review, correct, and process each submission manually before generating a quote and booking an airway bill.
